    Hey guys, I'm 16 and wondering what are some decent careers that involve firearms. I was thinking about becoming a police officer but i don't really want to be they guy that fucks people over all the time, but it might be alright at times. New gun testing maybe, I dunno. I'm really in the dark here and I would like to make a long term decision for my future and some advice would be helpful. Please no flaming. Thanks in advance.

    My next door neighbor is DEA, he is moving because he currently has a hit on his house from some gang he busted awhile ago in Detroit, so I think I'll pass on that one.

    At 16 you may want to broaden your spectrum a little more than "working with guns." It is a great hobby but you are going to be relatively limited to the jobs that handle them...especially ruling out police/military.

    yes

    police = police the city

    army/navy= police the world

    I don't think its necessarily a bad thing most of time btw.

    and I am active duty navy.

    basically I meant that he said a military career was out of the question but was considering being a cop...I see the two jobs as fairly similar is all and at first it seemed like a contradiction
