So, i've taken to trying to have behind the scenes shots on shoots nowadays, just for kicks. So on the last shoot, i had my friend/assistant snap a few w/ my p&s. Thought i'd post and hope other people might have some cool ones to share also.

Yep. Well, it's a rental studio. The owner is a photographer and I'm his digital tech, and on top of that i help run the place, so i get to use it for $free.99 if i'm shooting personal work.

You wouldn't want to, it's fuckin freezing. Although the top floor is nice w/ a really nice view.

    We're shooting

I wouldn't really classify it as a hairlight, as it's not coming from behind and being used to fill the entire set.

That shopping cart is might close to that super car! :noes:

is video village set up under the floppies on the left?

Ahh....gotcha. Kind of hard to tell from the pic.

The cart is suppose to be close to the super car. It was the main focus of the spot...cart hitting the car....dude gets angry....takes it out on the little cart....big momma cart comes to the rescue.

Yep, video village (ala one monitor) is under the floppy.

 super car or not, the big dude on the left was my "cart catcher" for the shot of the cart hitting my car. he did a great job. I wish I could post the finished spot but I can't.

haha definitely, Profotos are great, but i've got no problems using dynalites. Especially when you consider weight.

Ah yeah, so much more compact and lightweight compared to the profotos. Just the powerpak alone is conveniently sized to fit a small bag.
