Just curious, how do your cardio routines look like typically?

I've done distance/time running (run 6 miles in ~ hour) and interval sprinting, and prefer the sprinting because i feel like it accurately simulates wrestling/bjj more.

    Post your routines!

I'm going to start doing 6 miles every morning and maybe hills/sprints 3 times a week.

I'm going to try to swim once a week too, but the pool is kind of far.

I can't do much else besides that at home so I just decide on random things to do on my heavy bag- 100 kicks each leg, 300 knees, 200 elbows, etc and just try to crank it out as fast as i can

I try and run 2-3 times a week. Typically 4-6 miles depending on how I'm feeling. On weekends in the spring / summer I try and go for a 20-60 mile bike ride.

One of my favorite things to do are stadium runs, sprint up, recovery / jog on the way down. Another good one are relay sprints if you have a partner. One person sprints around the track until they catch the partner who is walking away from them on the track. You end up running around 500-600 m if not more once you get tired on a 400 m track.

    i love doing that.

right now, my cardio is on a tread mill. 15 minutes of 0 incline 8/10 speed, 20 minutes of 10/10 incline at 4.5/10 speed

I use to run around the city and alternate sprinting then jogging between each street light.

i hear swimming is GREAT. Sprints also- but honestly i think jogging a long distance is overrated. It doesnt simulate your muscle twitch fibers, there was this one guy who did marathons and said he was gassed out from doing a half class.

there are better ways of increasing your gas tank than distance running, but distance running has it's benefits too. helps keep your heart rate low, strengthens your legs, keeps your weight down, etc.
