i can never manage to make it past 20 mins of cardio as of late, not because i cant but because its so damn boring unless yer playing a game w/ other ppl 4 cardio. i really cant see how anyone could enjoy running. im willing to put all the effort into doing the cardio but is there anything that you guys do that either makes it more interesting, or is it just a matter of manning up and getting the shit done?

It's just a matter of manning up and getting it done. If it's 'boring', then you're not working intense enough. I'm guessing the reason you're most successful while playing sports is because the game distracts you from the exercise. When it's you and a treadmill, the only thing to focus on is the exercise. Cardio is a very mental activity.

Run around the neighborhood. Plenty of changing scenery to keep your eyes busy, at least

ya i tried that yesterday, but i could definitely see that getting old real quick, i guess my best bet would be just using different forms of cardio when i get bored of one.

i can easily do 30 minutes on the elliptical trainer 4-5 days a week without a problem. a little mental effort and its done.

    however...

for me, dieting is harder than not checking out a girl at a wet-tshirt contest.

just pay little neighborhood kids to throw you oranges and cheer for you when they see you running around so you can pretend to be rocky balboa.
