cardio effect ?

    so they say 30 mins of decent paced running burns about 400-500 calories (dunno the exact number)

    so does this mean that doing cardio has the same effect as eating 500 less calories in the day and NOT doing cardio?

    I don't think so.
    It depends on your lifestyle.
    If you're working construction and cutting steel strut all day, then I think its more reasonable your letting less but not working out would have the same effect, but if you're not a very active person, unless you're very very obese, I don't think just eating less will do the same.

    Cliffs:
    If you move a lot, you can eat less and be fine.
    If you don't move a lot, you can't just eat less (unless very obese).

    cardio is not just about calories brah

    it's suppose to keep your metabolism going after anyways, so it's not just about what you burn at the present time
