Card Reader for MBP

Discussion in 'OT Technology' started by Market Garden, Jan 18, 2008.

  1. I've been looking for a card reader that I don't have to carry around separately. So far, I've found this one:

I like that it goes in all the way and sits flush, so I can just leave it in there. Does anyone have any experience with it, or recommendations for something similar?

I have that same Griffin card reader and it works perfectly.
    It's nice and flush.
I've posted pics of it in the mac shack, but I was pruned and they were removed, lol.

And the reason the CF ones aren't flush is obvious, it's because CF is larger than the slot. lol

I'm about to go to Fry's tomorrow for one (amongst a ton of other things like SATA cards) for one for my new MBP. Even the cheap ones seem to work fine. As stated already, the CF readers aren't all nice and flush like the SD readers. The SD readers are great cause they can be left in all the time and forgotten about til you need them. Nice and fast too compared to the old PCMCIA slot readers.
