    What would be a good sized carbie for a 265 hemi? i just want a relativly hot street car, not anything over the top....

    also 2 barrel or 4 barrel?

    depends on what type of power your making, and how much air the engine will consume. For an engine that size, you can probably get away with a 500cfm two barrel, but if it's more agressive, you may want to switch to a four barrel. Holly has improved the street manors of thier carbs in the last few years, but they are still crankey as all shit when the weather changes. Carters are alittle better and tend to stay in tune longer, but Rochester Quadrajets are probably the best street carb out there.
