car wood pannels and plastic

    any ideas how to keep wood pannels shining? my friend uses wax, but i dont know if thats a good idea. how about plastic instrument pannels? armor all gets too oily.

    Wax probably won't hurt it. Window cleaner works very well, so does plain water and microfiber towels.

    On the plastic instrument panel, you can apply some protectant, then go back over it in about 5 minutes and wipe off the excess. It will still have a bit of shine, but it will be a more satin-like shine.
