Car Subs as Home Subs?

    Sup Guys,
    I recently purchased 8 12"in Bazooka Car subwoofers and i was wondering if i could convert some of them to home subs? How would it sound?

    Yes you could. It would sound fine, but you would probably have not so hot low frequency extension....

    I am curious, why did you buy 8 of them in the first place???

    cool. how would i power the sub? Since for the car, im using an amp.

    i bought 8 for no reason. heh. just cause it was cheap ($9.99/each) Ever have that feeling when something is hella cheap, you just gotta stock up?

    try they should have a 250w subwoofer plate amplifier for 120 dollars on the front page. I have one and they are pretty good, especially considering how much they cost. You might have to modifiy it though to remove a boost circuit, but its not that hard, it only took me like 5 minutes to do it to mine.
