So I have a 2000 Honda Civic EX coupe and the stock CD player has completely shit out on me. My car is entirely stock. I am just wanting a decent replacement without spending a lot. I do require that it have a front aux input and not look too retarded. That is about it. So, after looking around on the net for a bit I think I have found what I want.... opinions???

    Kenwood Excelon KDC-X492 ($169.99)

Excelons are great units. Just don't be stupid and buy from crotchfield. They're rediculously overpriced.

But are one of the only legitimate/authorized online dealers for Excelon. Don't be stupid and get a "deal" on something that has no legitimate factory warranty to back it up.

Better yet, go to your local Excelon dealer and buy from them.

Exactly my point. Buying in-store will be cheaper and you have a brick-and-mortar shop to take a broken unit to, not having to ship it to a middleman.

Ok, I guess I'll look around town and see who has them. I know that all the major retailers here that have a website I know of do not carry this model.

Great headunit. Many of the carstereo forums I frequent shop at this place:

    www.woofersetc.com

    Good prices and excellent CS.

Hmm, maybe I'll check in store then, I just figured they didn't carry it because it's not listed online (Click here to view online).

    Will look at them, thanks
