Does anyone know where to get those stickers that have a car in a circle with a red line through it indicating a "kill"?
A fellow scooter rider in San Francisco got hit by some prick in a Lexus trying to drift on some twistys. Kid went into the scooter riders lane and hit him head on. The scooter is completely wrecked but the Lexus is totaled too :fawk:
So I think he really deserves a kill sticker for his pain and for fucking up that car... Any idea where to get them?

This has officially been posted on every forum that I read now. It's getting to be a pretty big deal. The original thread (linked to from sportbikes.net) is here:

    They're a lot of fun
My latest is a '67 Lambretta. It's a 150cc engine kitted with a 190cc top end, 28mm carb, tuned pipe and various engine upgrades. In 4th gear it'll do about 75 mph flat out. Not bad for 190cc's :)

I owned a Honda Ruckus a few years ago. It was fun as hell to zip around town on that thing. Being able to park it on the sidewalk was nice too.

not really. back in WW2 fighter pilots would get a circle with a crossed out plane in it for every plane they shot down to signify their kill. this is just kinda a joke from that. scooter killed a car, he gets a sticker :p

considering it's a 2 stroke and my 4 stroke 250 did an actual 100 (are you talking speedometer or GPS? I mean GPS), yeah, that is pretty shitty for 190cc.

There is quite a difference between a 2 stroke 190 and a 4 stroke 250. You're compairing apples to oranges. Is your 4 stroke 250 a scooter or motorcycle?

Then you have those Piaggio scooters with the 2 front wheels that can out corner any sportbike out there.

Apples to oranges if yours had an actual transmission attached to it.

It's a motorcycle, but he says his has a 4 speed - that's an actual transmission.

my point is that 75mph out of a 190cc 2 stroke is nothing to brag about, 2 stroke dirt bikes of similar displacement should be able to do that without a problem.

close but not quite... a flag would be painted below the cockpit , no circle with a crossed out plane...

Well I and any other scooter rider who knows anything about scooters will tell you that 75 mph out of a 190cc, 41 year old engine on 10" wheels ain't bad.
