    hi,
ive got a corolla le 04 and id really like to listen to my music on my iphone in it. ive used those tape thingies and an fm transmitter but the quality is usually kinda crappy especially when ya turn the volume up. i know the corolla doesnt have an amazing sound system to start off with but when i play cd's the quality is pretty decent. so is it possible to get the cd quality from an iphone? maybe like an audio line in or whatnot?

If your car has a aux input then you can get decent sound. Other than that all the FM transmitters and what not are pretty crappy.

def gonna want an aux input. if your car has an output to install a cd changer or something, then you can have an adapter to put in an aux input.

FM modulator would work... but the best quality you can get out of it would be FM radio quality. Granted, it would be like the best FM radio you ever heard.

I'm not sure if the '04's have a CD changer input or not. My '05 did, and I used my Aux2Car adapter from my old Buick Regal to have an aux input. Works great with my Sirius satellite radio.

Alright, I'll go to my local Toyota dealer and see if they can install an aux line. If not I'll buy an fm modulator. Thanks guys

    oh.. that seems complicated.

also, what is the difference between an fm modulator and an fm transmitter? i looked up some fm transmitters on amazon and theyre pretty cheap. im guessing the audio quality is worse?
