    I've been doing it before for a few weeks now but then I read it's better to do it after blah blah

  3. I would never run and then immediately go lift, but I run in the early mornings and then lift at night. :dunno: If you HAVE to do one or the other I'd say run afterwards as lifting is more important IMO.

    I personally like running after lifting if I'm gonna do both in the same day

    i do it all... before lifting or during lifting, sometimes after.... cross training style ftw

    ex squat day:

    run 2km; squat warm up x 10;
    run 500m squat x 10 warmup 2;
    run 500m squat x5 working set;
    run 500m squat x5 working set
    run 500m squat x5 working set
    run 500m squat x5 working set
    run 500m squat x5 working set

    thats one varied routine i did.... makes working out less boring mixing cardio in between

    I've been doing a few minutes of cardio at the end of every workout since it's really the only time I can fit it in.

    Honestly, 10 minutes on the stairmaster after a brutal workout feels the same as 30 minutes would when I'm all fresh in the morning. lol

    only if i'm doing cardio in the morning and lifting in the afternoon.

    i do some light cardio to get my heart rate up before lifting but thats about it. if i do full out cardio before lifting, I've already used up my energy and the lifting will be for shit

    According to the September Muscle and Fitness you should always do your cardio after a workout, you burn more calories because your body has to work harder.

    i think you burn more fat because your glycogen stores are depleted
