Hey, sorry, i dont know if this is the right forum to post this in but... i have a problem. The CD player in my car has a face plate, and has a CD stuck in it, how can i get the CD out. The player itself is some cheap JVC one.

some decks can be cured by just resetting the unit... can you see the disc try to come out??? if it looks like it's getting caught up by the faceplate, the transport may be out of wack... use a paper clip or something like, and push the cd down as you eject. if it just don't move at all then, it will have to be taken apart.

press and hold the power off button and the eject button at the same time.

on jvc's it works nearly every time.
