im not too sure, but maybe the rear doors and the rear deck can share a channel while the front speakers has it's own channel, it should work, but i dont think you can get your rear speakers to nearly the power it was meant to do

I just need it to do the trick; nothing EXTRAVAGANT and yea i was planning on somehow using the rear doors and rear deck to share a channnel and have the front on ITS own channel.

dunno does that info help at all??
Can anyone recommend a cheap amp (something under 100 bucks (even if used)) that will work for the setup then if this isn't enough power?

What should i be looking for then if not that (to aid in my search for a better amp)

No, you need a 6 channel amp to power them all with an external amp. You could hook up the front speakers and the rear door speakers to the amp and run the rear deck speakers off of the head unit.

so theres no way to like combine the rear deck speakers and the rear door speakers?

what if i ran the rear door speakers off the stock amp; and the rear deck/front door speakers off the amp?

You should do running, although its bad on your joints, say some people. run for at a minimum 20 mins, and if you can at least 40 mins. 40 mins - 1 hour is ideal. At the end or some time in the middle you should check your heart rate, make sure its 140 bpm or higher, otherwise you're not exercising hard enough and you should push yourself harder.

Most people say you should run first thing in the morning before you eat breakfast, but I say just run when you're most comfortable, when you're not pressed for time, when you can do it the RIGHT way without having to think about anything else but running. Whatever fits your schedule.

Run the front doors off the deck, buy a 300 watt amp for the rears and 6x9's

if you dont buy a decent amp they rate the power badly..

Okay; that auction ended without me making up my mind... So this is what I think I've settled on... Tell me if this seems plausable....

    i'm gonna run this amp
    MTX Thunder 4244

to power my front 6.5" Speakers and the Rear Deck's 6x9s... And Im going to run the rear speakers off of the stock amp.

Of course the Sub will have its own mono amp.

Plus now I'm gonna need a Capacitor since i'm getting to subs...

    that Audiobahn In particular...

can someone please tell me if this is going to work? I really belive it will based on the limited audio knowledge I have... but can anyone just confirm it for me? Please? kthx. :)

You can do it, but the wiring might be a pain. What you need to do is run 4 of the 6 speakers wired in parallel (I'd recommend the rears) like this :

This is a two channel amp diagram - this would be how you would wire the speakers in the rear door and the 6x9s. The other two channels of your amp would run the front door speakers as normal. The load on your amplifier would be ~4 ohms for the front outputs and ~2 ohms for the rear outputs. That MTX amp will handle it, but be careful - back in the day, MTX amps were pretty underrated (meaning they put out more power than advertised), I don't know how they are now.

i've been noticing how people think wiring in parallel is so hard. it's not!

just take some solder iron and flatten out/compact the exposed part of the speaker wire reall well. then just stuff all the ends in to the channel output on the amp. you have now instantly wired your speakers in parallel.

I know it's not hard, and you know it's not hard, but if he's asking this question, then parallel wiring might be confusing. After he does it once, it won't be hard for him either :big grin:

Also its a brand new car; I'm really scared with fucking anything up beacuse of the warranty. I've also got a DVD/Screen that i'm gonna be putting in there to eat up some more juice.... I think I should get teh Capacitor just to be SURE that I'm not gonna kill my Alternator... What do you guys think? Is it totally UN-NECESSARY?

These are the specs on the two Amps....

the capacitor WILL NOT do anything to save your alternator or electrical system. It will only lessen voltage drops/peaks that may cause your lights to dim..etc.
