    i have a 800w 2 channel boss amp pushing a 15" kicker.
recently my fuse blew for my dome light, radio, and cigarette lighter.
i replaced the fuse only to find the amp was receiving no power.
after checking the remote wire, the only change is now the red protection led lights up on the amp. i also checked the fuse for the remote wire connection from the back of the cd player, which was blown. after replacing it i still get only the red protection light on the amp.
please help if you have any suggestions i dont know what else to do.

i am a sexy female and will trade sex and beer for help.
    please help!
if you know how to fix this youre a godddamn genius....

Did you check your ground, and the fuse(s) inside the amp as well, if those are blown, then the amp won't go out of protection.

if you mean the ground screwed into the back of the amp, yes it is fine. there is only one fuse in the amp that i am aware of and it appears to be fine as well.
the amp goes out of protection kind of intermittently, but the red light seems better then no light as before.
thanks for your help, any other suggestions????
remember no sex unless you help me fix the prob......................

sub is blown? amp has dead inputs/outputs? amp is pooh-pooh? any one of those 3 is most likely what is happening.

i would get a new amp cause BOSS is the worst thing you can buy next to a homemade amp created with leftover wires, a ball of yarn and poo
