car audio component speakers

    i cannot decide which to get for my 2001 xterra....they are all the same price from crutchfield @ $199 [​IMG]Alpine Type-S SPS171A,
    [​IMG]Infinity Reference 6010cs , or
    [​IMG]Polk Audio db6500
    car audio gurus please HELP!!!!
    also what are a good pair for a reasonable bang for your buck rear panel 6" x 9" speakers thanks guys

    My personal preference would be the Polk db6500's. For me infinity's in general lack some of the midbass I love from Polk. I have not heard the Alpine's, but I haven't heard great reviews for them.

    My opinion is to ditch the rears and purchase better fronts. I don't want to explain for the nth time why I don't think you should have a rear sound stage right now, but it might be in the sticky.
