Anyone deal with them?
Thats pretty neat.
Id like to see a macro shot of thier brushed canvas.
have you ordered from them viper?
nope, but in general they do a good job. Maybe order one from each and compare.
I'm looking to do one before christmas, Hoping to get some feedback before then
El-Co Color Labs does the same thing much cheaper, and they make excellent quality prints.
They also print posters, do metallic posters, and offer quantity discounts on normal sized prints (minimum order of 5 prints). I can get 5 - 10x15" prints for $1.65 each.
For most of their stuff they use an actual optical printer, and develop in RA-4. I think the canvas prints are ink though, but everything I have ever ordered from them has exceeded expectations by a long shot.
I've ordered over 50 prints with Elco, I had no idea they did canvas, I defintely will go with them.
i have my first order in for regular prints from el-co. anxiously awaiting the results.
Mine were great
yeah, i remembered that picture from a past thread. that convinced me to go with them even though they are on the wrong coast. i am moving into a new place this week and i am going to mount mine up on some foam core.
I was getting ready to place an order with them for a couple 24x30's for a wedding this weekend. What's their turn around time? I think I'm fucked, I need the shit by saturday!!!!!!!!
I'm a n00b.. what are metallic posters?
its printed on kodak endura metallic, its pretty sweet, but I haven't seena print of a person yet. I'm not sure how that would turn out. Looks like it was printed on a metal glossy board, super saturated, though limited colors, and more blown highlights it seems, but I haven't tested it yet.
Is this what it is or is the metal just the frames? If this was it that'd be hot I'd definately get this
no, but thats tight. Its just a funky glossy paper. Very different than normal, but not made on actual metal.
