yes, it's for firing Nikon flashes wirelessly. It does everything the SB800 does minus the actual flash itself.

I have 2 pocket wizards, but I think the SU800 would benefit me more during weddings.

I'm interested to hear how you like the sb-900 over your sb-800. I ended up buying the sb-800 first because 1) the sb-900 looks fucking huge, and 2) the sb-900 is $160 more expensive.

I think you're at the point where a flash doesn't warrant a new thread

Just post when you pick up the 200

Since I'm all about buying new and the SB800 is no longer available, $160 more and more power it is.

Unlike you, good sir, I don't spend money to waste it. I spend it to enjoy my gear!

Ah, but I do enjoy my gear! Two identical flashes on two bodies and identical off camera flashes.....all four of them....makes for quick and easy adjustments and you have back ups when needed.

Do not question the motives of the master! :nono:

At least they aren't as expensive as HMI's. I've got Bron Kobold 800, 400, and a 200. Geez well there is a down payment for a house....

SB800 on one, SB900 on the other... Commander mode > your gray hairs.

    580EX x 2 +(Sunpack 383 x 4 ) / 4 pocketwizards = ability to light each gray hair individually.
