Sup guys. I bought test drive unlimited a few weeks ago and I installed it, the patch, the additional cars (which I had to purchase), updated all my sound and video drivers, went to play it and got this error:

"The wrapper version of SecuROM is too old, it can not be used with this version of the API. Please protect the application with the latest version of SecuROM!"

Now, the window that this pops up has the icon of the game, and if I try to use a cracked exe, I can run the game, but have errors and obviously cannot play online. I don't even know what the fuck a wrapper version is, so hopefully you guys can help me out :wavey:

Yep, updated it to the latest patch, 1.66A.

off topic, but I would have advised you to skip that game...

IMO if you pay for a game and their copy protection keeps you from playing it, download a hacked version, serves them right. And this way you can play without any optical media present.

I played it on my computer with a non-install copy and liked it so much I bought it so I can get the extra cars and the online features. And yes, this is absolute bullshit.

Atari has no customer support number, and as for securom, that's a laughable assertion.
