Running Win XPro. I dont know why its never happened before but I cannot get it to detect my Sony DSC-S85 camera. Nothing came with it as far as software. Any ideas???

Go to the manufacturers site and try to find a driver download. Sometimes you might have to press a button on the base station or the cam for it to connect (then windows will detect it).

If all else fails you might be able to set it up as a mass storage device, so Windows will just recognize it as a USB hard drive. That's what I used to do with my digicam.

Sony should have drivers for it.
