as i said before im looking for SQL with spl being a nice bonus but not high priority.

    1. 1 x Adire Tempest 15" - 150 dollars
    2. 1 x Adire Brahma 12" - 270 (found a guy selling here in houston)
    3. 2 x Infinity Kappa Perfect 12.1D - 220 on ebay
    4. 2 x Image dynamicsIDQ12v.2 d2 - approx 140each

all of these would be going into their respective sealed box applications and given their respective power handling.

which out of all those options would get me the best bang for the buck?

im an audio n00b so i probably won't quite be as critical as some audiophiles can be... but i do know clean bass when i hear it... i'd like that in my car but OCCASIONALLY i'd like to be able to turn it up pretty good if i felt like blasting down the highway...

the car is a hatchback 04' hyundai tiburon.

Is it possible to go listen to the brahma before you buy it? I'dtake a serious look at the Brahma myself. In ythis situation you can always buy it and if for some reason you dont like it, then you can sell it for what you bought it for.

well i can ask the guy if he has a rig we can hook it up too for me to demo...

or else i can bring a friend who has an amp wired up that can take the 1 ohm load.

that brahma looks like a fucking beast... not only does it weigh 39 pounds but its power handling is through the ROOF. i'd be scared to even run it at half its rating at full crank...

have you personally heard it before?

and the best part is he is offering a sealed box with it albeit the box is uncarpeted and kinda ugly but it works BUT also its 2.2 cu/f which is 1.2 bigger than it should be.. not a biggie i guess

Out of the list you provided, I'd get the Tempest if you have the space. IMO it's the best value for the money.

I'd go with the Brahma, I heard em before and I love em. I'm personally running two Alpine Type-R 15"s and they just run circles around my setup. I just wish I knew about the non-mainstream subs before I purchased, my next buy will be a big ass XXX tho

i have an Resonant engineering 12" HC for sale if youre interested. $200 + shipping.

that thing is a monster. 1200 watts RMS with plenty of room to play with. its not a XXX but it will still get plenty loud. It hasnt been installed or powered up since the motor was upgraded to the newer model so it is basically brand new. No parts were blown before the new motor was added, it was just a step to keep up with current technology. drop me an email if youre interested

I feel the brahma is the best option in the list, but did you consider the Orion H2?
