besides being bigger, the 22" also runs a bigger resolution. I'd go the bigger one.

You will keep your monitor for ten years, most likely. Consider the cost per year and you will feel better about it.

If that second one was a black frame, I would have already bought it.
But the black frame one from Acer isn't that much less than the Samsung.
And then if I'm going to buy the Samsung, then for a little bit more, I can buy the 24" Acer.
But the 24" Acer is getting bad reviews, so I might as well buy the 24" Samsung.
But now I'm $500 over where I started. :run:

My digital cam is really horrible. This is the best I can do.

That's very true. That, and I just bought supreme commander and quite a bit of memory, and I want to enjoy it properly.

I have the 22" inch Acer, but it's the AL2216Wbd, not the 2223 one listed. I believe you'd get the black Acer because US get black, overseas get the silver. No dead pixels, bright picture, but you'll notice some/little light bleeding near the edges on dark images, widescreen videos (doesn't bother me).
Comparing the 19 vs. 22, you'll notice the difference. Glad I got the 22" over 19". Problem with Acer is the base is crappy. There's no height adjustment, but I bought an aftermarket stand off eBay for $45 shipped that's great. Also, no USB ports; however, it did come with a DVI cable.

I got it for $272 at CircuityCity, but would have gotten the Samsung if it wasn't over $100 more expensive.
Would get another for my dual monitor setup to replace my old 17" Dell, but most likely buy a 2407 & use the 22" as the 2nd monitor.
