Alright I'm trying to reformat my HD. My internal drive is dead so I'm using an external one but it won't boot the Recovery CD. I already tried the boot setup and put Removable Device to boot first. What else can I do? Is there a way I can copy the Recovery CD to my HD and boot it that way?

Removable Device usually means Floppy Disk. Look over the list of boot devices very carefully and look for anything along the lines of Optical/CD/DVD/ATAPI. If you're sure that's already set up correctly, figure out which IDE channel the CD drive uses (IDE0 = primary master, IDE1 = primary slave, etc.) and set that channel to be the device in the boot list.

Also, look for a setting called "OS Install Mode" or something similar, and if it exists, turn it on. Some computers block bootable CDs using that setting. Dell computers, for example.
