On my computer I cannot access my hotmail (www.hotmail.com)
My other computer can on XP Pro, so I know my ISP isnt the fault.

    USING: Windows XP Home

the hotmail site works, but when i go to login it IMMEDIATLY goes to "The page cannot be displayed"

I have turned off everything in startup (including anti-virus programs) and still no luck. I have reset ALL settings to DEFAULT in IE settings. The only I can login to check my mail is if I'm in safe mode. (will not work on different user account either, even a brand new one)

And I have also tried to download other browsers and they will not connect to the internet. Im thinking theres a windows setting bugged somewhere? Any help? Thanks in advance.

update internet explorer, check that any firewalls you have arent blocking SSL connections, check that SSL is allowed in internet explorer settings, try clearing your cache, etc

Dig Dug and reset. SSL is enabled from what I can tell (2 options in IE settings) however still a no-go on that SSL test site, or the hotmail login.

says connection was refused when trying to go to a site on firefox... opera doesnt work either, only IE will connect to websites, and there seems to be a problem in windows as far as connectivity ( lots of things have problems connecting )

*msn explorer will not connect either.

any clue why nothing connects and cannot view SSL sites in IE?
