The shutter on my 1DIIN broke when I was at X games. :wtc: It fucking sucked but I got to use a 1DIII so I can't complain. ;)

I took it down to Canon Irvine the following Monday and told them what was up. Brought in all my warranty cards and told them I only had like 40K actuations and blah blah blah.

They said they'd fix the broken shutter this "one time" and clean everything else  They said it would take 5-7 days just like my broken 70-200 took. Whatever.

I got a phone call on Saturday saying it was fixed so I went down and picked it up today. They informed me I only had 20K on the last shutter and they replaced the broken shutter with a brand new one free of charge.:bowdown::bowdown:

So stoked. So all of you So Cal Canon shooters, make sure you go down there from now on. :wavey:

One of the only positives about living in this shitty state is there is a CFS within driving distance. :mamoru:

I bought it a year ago brand new. 20K in a year isn't too bad. ;)
