Anyone recommend this camera? Anybody happen to have sample pictures taken by the camera? I'm in the market for a new camera and have no clue what to get. I've heard to stick with Canon, and that the G3 was great. I've been reading reviews lately but I'm still clueless :o

I have a G3 and LOVE IT. Great camera! I just got it a little over a month ago and I can't believe how much I have learned about photography since I have owned it.
You can check out my online photo galleries, most of the pictures where taken with the G3.

i have the G2 and I like it alot

my sister has the g3 and i used it for about a week.

the quality is a lil better than the g2 and it has more zoom, but the build quality and ergonomics are alot better with the g3

canon makes really good cameras and are built really tuff as well

Thanks a lot guys! So I should go with a Cannon G series? Any other brands I should consider? How about the A series or S400?

I would recommend the G series all the way.

Here's some food for thought, I originally bought an A80, but decided to return it for the G3 because it has a faster lens and hotshoe capibility.
My friend who bought an S50 a few months before I got my camera decided to sell his S50 on ebay after seeing and using my G3. He went out and bought a G5.

So I there you have it, two people who bought an A & S series and returned/sold them to buy G series cameras.
