I just picked up the Canon 350d from craigslist and the only manual it had with it was the spanish one.

I've been trying to figure out how I can adjust the aperture and shutterspeed in the same mode, but i'm not having any luck.

Can anyone offer some advice please?

    Thank you.

Negative! I hate weddings to start with, I don't want to be snapping cheesy pictures at them

Read the manual, didn't know I had to hold down the A+/- button while turning the main dial.

There is a little button on the back above the light button, I think it has Av on it.

in Av: turning the wheel = aperture, av+turning the wheel = exposure compensation

in Tv wheel = shutter, button + wheel = exposure comp

in M wheel = shutter, button + wheel = aperture.
