I'm strongly considering this wide angle lens for my trip out west (Montana). I'm going to see my dad and bro and want to take massive wide angle landscape shots and potential other creative exposures.

I have a 1.6 Fovcf or Canon 50d and my current lens setup is 28-135 kit, 50mm 1.8 prime, and 70-200 F4L USM.

Roger on lens rentals says it is a great lens but just want get some other feedback on it. Is it worth the $699?

im not a pro or anything but i love my 10-22

after doing some research (after buying mine) i found that everyone seems to like the tokina (? i think tokina?) 11-16 better though

i'm getting the tokina 11-16 instead of the canon 10-22. i've read it's cheaper and sharper, and i can do without the 17-22mm.

I paid $650 for mine in "Excellent +" condition from Adorama... I could not tell it from brand new, seemed like it was used for a product shot and repackaged

I had a great time with my 10-22, but had to sell as it would not work with my 5D2.
