Thinking of buying this lens used for 150$. Retail is 270$ I believe...any reviews? Should I just save the money?

It's really the only reason why I'm considering it.

but then again, just because something is a good deal doesn't mean you should buy it.

While that is true, I have absolutely no lens for my camera at the moment and figured this would be a decent start for me. :dunno:

this is the lens that i use as a walk around lens right now, got it just after i got my XTi about a year and a half ago. Its pretty good but in hindsight i wish i had gotten like the Sigma 17-70 and then something with a longer range above that. 28mm isnt quite small enough for some things and 105 isnt long enough
