    So I'm looking into getting a 24-70 F/2.8L.

I was hoping someone here has one and call enlighten me on what to expect from the lens. I'm a little bit worried about the supposed back focusing issues that some have reported...but I've got faith in Canon's quality and won't let it phase me too much.

Any help would be appreciated. :)

it's an awesome lens. It's not terribly heavy, but it's no lightweight plastic lens either.

It's a great lens, pretty big, and a little heavy. You'll forget all about that when you start using it though. :)

    Enjoy!

So far it looks like weight is the only con associated with the lens. :eek3:

I have one for my 5D and its fucking AWESOME. Such a sharp and fast lens. You'll soon forget about the weight, and after shooting a whole day with a 70-200 f/2.8L IS it's a featherweight. You won't be disappointed in it.

The only full frame camera I have is an older Canon 35mm body that I don't use often. :hs:

Sounds like everyone is in favor of the 24-70L. I'll report back when I've got one :)
