Moon shot came out blurry because the clouds were moving, but before I came inside for the night, I waited for a few cars to pass, and practiced my long exposure. Please comment...Im working on getting a free G5 from work because something about the graininess of the a70 bothers me, even using an iso of 50 :hs:

 a lot better than my last try at longer exposers, i couldn't seem to keep the camera steady, even with a tripod.

Have you used the self timer when on a tripod? Just set the timer then walk away till it's done?

Damn, great idea...I never thought of that and lots of times I notice that when you press the shutter down the camera moves after you release it(just a bit). GOnna hav to try that...these pics were resized from 2048 x 1536 though :hs:

definately, im not so much the spur of the moment picture taker, but I wanted to try and get a pic of te moon while the clouds looked all cool last night... Sorry the lights shots had a bunch of other distractions...they were just sort of practice shots...
