A&P Canon 70-200 f/2.8L IS Mark II

    Got this sample a few weeks ago, didn't realize it wasn't out yet so I figured i'd post a pic

    It is crazy sharp, seems like a night and day difference compared to the mark I

    Is it really noticeably better optically? At I hope every time I sell one of the old ones we'll get the new one in! lol

    I'm no expert, but in the time I used the mark 2 I thought the wide open performance was excellent while the mark 1 I think can use some stopping down to get a sharp image

    all the pros seemed to be very happy with it as well, they said they saw a great improvement

    it was insane how many Canon brought to Vancouver to lend out. Most of the guys borrowed those for 3 weeks lol

    Good deal then! I was worried they were just going to minorly update the IS, add a "MK II" and add $400 to the price... lol

    Although I love my 70-200 F4 IS will definitely consider this :bowdown:. Waiting on more depth to the reviews out there to see if it's worth an $800 price difference.
