should have called it a 20.5d
with small changes like that, i'd agree.
I just put a pre-order for one. Should be here March 22nd
that will look good next to your d200
It really would
weak upgrade... but the canon 17-55 f/2.8 IS is getting me jealous that the Nikon version don't have VR
hell, if costco gets them anytime soon, i'll trade my 20d in for it. The 11 burst depth would be NICE.
meh after eyeing the D200 I just find that upgrade boring..however the lower price tag makes it quite attractive, im guessing that's how they plan to compete with the D200
I'm always bursting 20-30 in JPEG, now I can switch to raw and burst! Finally I'll be able to capture the perfect moment on the computer, sorting through only one folder of picture.
80mm f/1.2 L II
lolz @ Canon sackriders that thought the 20D replacement would be the new jesus. Should have been called the 20Dn.
it has a spot meter
not enough to trade up
ISO 100-1600 is now selectable in 1/3 stop increments
ISO can be set without taking one's eye away from the viewfinder
Increased burst depth: 11 frames for RAW CR2 shooting
I think these are the only 3 features I would benefit from at all over the 20D
sure I'd love a spot meter, but I could by a nice handheld for far less
i dont burst that long anyway
I'm just sad that it's EF-S.
A 17-55mm f/2.8 IS EF mount would be huuuge!
17-55 2.8 IS?! Link?
eh, reminds me of the transition from d70 -> d70s
how much would the trade up be?
trade up from what? lol
