A&P canon 300D worth a damn for under $200?

    I'm still thinking about jumping on the dslr bandwagon, is a 300D with kit lens for >$200 a good starting point? I could at least sell it for a small profit on ebay if I dont like it...

    Yes. An old 300d rebel is still better than most high-end point and shoots these days. It's small, plastic and only 6mp, but it would be a great for starter.

    So would ya'll take the 300D or spend $90 more and get a sony a100 with 2 lenses?

    you can find a used 20D for 300-350 :dunno:

    Thats a tough one for me seeing as I already have maxxum lenses that will mount and its a newer camera with less actuations and more glass. Or I could save almost a hundred bucks...
