    It'll work great on your 16mm Frezzolini camera! However the angenieux 12-120 zoom lens is a much better choice.

    im sure theres an adapter out there somewhere, its just a thread mount right?
    i have a T mount and 42mm mount adapter already
    i could get a canon adapter A for 39mm threads

    As long as you don't mind your image cut off on all the corners you'd be good to go!

    so it wont work with a full frame? maybe with an extension in macro only?
    whats the mount to film plane distance on these cameras

    It's a C-mount lens, designed for tv cameras or 16mm film cameras. Even if you could mount it on your DSLR you probably wouldn't be able to focus it to infinity due to the short flange focal distance (distance between the mount and the film/sensor plane) of less than 20mm.

    that 70-dl looks like a tank could run it over and it would be fine. :hs:

    I believe that this camera was manufactured during WWll for combat photography. I may be wrong but I know I've seen pictures of the Bell & Howell being used in war.
