We're buying a used 10D for our business and I have five days to learn how to use it. We have no manual for it but I can download one.

Is there anyone here willing to tudor me on the basic camera operation? I know photography like the back of my hand but I'm a noob to digital photography. I need to know how to set the white balance to tungsten and daylight. I need to know how to use the TTL meter and how to override the settings. I also need to know how to DL the pics and approx. how many pics I can shoot in RAW on a flash card.

    Thanx.

It's easy mang. Read the manual in whatever forum you can, and go nuts.

I sold mine so I would have to go by memory. But, it's self explanatory once you hit the Menu button.

white balance = press af-wb button and choose correct white balance

use the meter like you usually do...to override, you set it on manual

on a 1 gig flash card you'll be able to shoot around 450 or so higest quality jpegs or about 160 raw files

Thanks guys. I'm picking up a battery charger and a couple of flash cards today. I'll play with it this afternoon and see if I can figure out all the controls.
