A&P cannon s30 vs. sony p5

    Which one would you guys recommend more for a casual user/entry level user...

    the cannon, i'm starting to wish i'd bought it rather than my olympus.

    whats wrong with the sony?? Just don't like their expensive memory stick?

    well basically.... memory sticks only work with Sony stuff.

    also, the canon s30 has more features then the p5... the p5 seems like a point&shoot as the s30 has more manual features for photographers to mess with.

    Shutter delay on Sony's suck :( It's like a 2-3 second delay and you have to hold down the button :down: so you cant take quick/spontaneous shots.

    i have a canon s30, i also have a photo journal where i upload shots, you can get an idea of how the pics are, even though they are small to save space

  10. I would say the Sony is the Better model, but you have to be careful with it , it is not very durable, but I dunno bout the Canon model though

    well, i have the c3020, and it takes AMAZING pictures... but the panarama software / interface sucks ass...

    and it's big... so it's a pain in the ass to take to the bar...
