i recently moved and now my gym is 25 or so miles away. contract says i have to have moved 30 miles away to cancel my contract. i already talked to them and they said i cannot cancel without paying the fee. is there any other way i can get out of the contract? i have a year and a half left (3 year contract) and i dont want to drive that far to go to the gym. especially since it has started snowing. and the gym by my new place is :bowdown:and they are willing to give me the same monthly payment as im paying now.

the thing is i have to show them a bill or some sort of mail with that address. thats what it says in the contract and thats what they asked me to bring to cancel. i thought pulling a random address would work just like it did when i had to cancel sprint but it wouldnt work if i needed some sort of bill for proof

change mailing address of cell phone bill for a month. send to friend or relative out of state/county. have them send it to you and cancel.

if the mailing thing doesnt work....go to gym: do deadlifts making a lot of noise and slamming weights every set, load up chaulk everywhere, do annoying shit till manager kicks you out and withdraws your membership.

i know my 3 year membership at 24 hour i just got is calculated by $600 on the first year, and the last two years are free. i think that way you're dicked after the first year if you don't go to 24 hour anymore.
