I had one of the first US batch Sirius radios when they first came out. Only the American serial numbered units were allowed to receive Howard Stern. Recently my Xact XTR7 died, and I'm looking at a cheap replacement around $50 or so. I am considering leaving for Buffalo tomorrow AM and finding a Walmart to pickup a US unit.

Buying the units online actually do not appear to be best value. Maybe a few suggestions on where to go in Buffalo? Is there an online supplier that would meet my needs? I don't need anything fancy at all, just a "non-Canadian" branded unit. Now the CDN units can get Howard, but on an 11 minute delay, and no Howard 101 apparently.

    Thanks in advance.

No Howard 101 on Canadian, but why are you worried about the delay?

usually with shops you're going to end up overpaying. i would give daryl's car audio shot (buffalo), and see what kind of prices they have

be warned that the fm transmitters are a lot weaker in the new ones than the old ones. This means that if you want it to not sound like balls, you either need the FM direct adapter, or to hook it up to an aux input if you've got one. It would probably be easiest to go to a big box store to get ur complete solution, or just get it on ebay.

We say Direct FM box, aux connection, or after market deck w/direct box.
