Time to ban "assault knives".
why is murder with a knife more acceptable than murder with a gun?
I'm still baffled as to why people even focus on the weapon. Who cares if you kill a man with a knife, a gun, a bottle, your hands, etc? Why do we go easy on anyone for murder at all or even consider letting someone who intentionally took the life of another human out on the streets ever again? People don't get retarded like this with rape and go "well it was just oral...meh."
Well let's see here. If you focus heavily on regulating guns... I wonder if people will start to shift their focus on other weapons.
Just a thought.
Yes of course, it's called classic crime displacement. If you run the whores off of main street, they go to another street. Same rule applies to this. If you ban guns, people don't stop killing each other, they just use other tools.
Proof that gun bans do not stop murders. Knives have always killed more than guns, but no one wants to look at that fact and just realize: people kill people regardless of the tools available to them, you cannot legislate morality.
But at least they aren't murdering other people with guns. So therefore its a great policy!
At the same time, there's not a lot of collateral damage with an increasingly stabby populace. Usually the person stuck is the intended target.
