GUN Canada crew...What's legal and what's not?

    A friend and I want to get licensed and start shooting this year. What's legal and what's not as far as types of guns we can own. I know we have to get different classes of licenses...just feeling out what is possible under our laws.

    nevermind i didn't see canada crew. I don't know anything about canada's gun laws.

    If you just want a hunting rifle or shotgun, all you need is your Hunters Number Card, current hunting licence and an FAC or PAL (Firearms Acquisition Certificate and Possession and Acquisition Licence) to possess/carry a firearm.
    Both require ridiculously long courses for common sense testing. (~3 days, anything over a day is too long for me :o )

    Laws may be different in other provinces so it may be best to look up the laws for your area.
