Can you over do it on cardio v.Losing weight

    Lately Ive been doing cardio 5days a week but Ive had people tell me thats bad for me. Any truth too this?

    how long you doing it? also depends on how many cals you take in.

    2days of HIIT, 5days of Cardio; Cardio is ussally Bike for 45mins, Incline treadmill 45mins, and eliptical for 45mins seperate days though. I weigh 215 so I wanna get down to 170-180 and be a skinny mother fucker and than bulk up to 220ish:cool:

    Yea, although I doubt will gain any muscle mass since I eat around 2000-2500 cal a day

    Why, You are already bulked just lift and do cardio only 3xs a week. Skinny people would kill for that?

    I have legs but my upper body is all fat :wtc: Heres my lifting

    Monday (Legs) Even Week

    Squats – 3x6 - 200
    Leg Press – 3x6 - 350
    Straight Leg Deadlift – 3x6 - 120
    Leg Curls – 2x6 - 120
    Standing Calf Raise – 3x10 - 220
    Seated Calf Raise – 3x10 - 180


    Tuesday (Chest) Even Week

    Incline Dumbbell Press – 3x5 -15lb :wtc:
    Flat Dumbbell Press – 3x5 -20lb
    Flat Flies – 3x5 - 10lbs
    Dips – 3x5 - 10lbs


    Wednesday (Back) Even Week

    Deadlift – 3x6 - 120:coolugh:
    Pullovers – 3x6 -100
    Dumbbell Shrugs – 3x6 - 50
    Wide Grip Pull Downs – 3x6 - 80
    Hammer Strength High Row – 3x6 - 150


    Thursday (Shoulders) Even Week

    Seated Dumbbell Press – 3x5,4,3 - 20
    Military Press (Smith) – 3x6,6,5 -40
    Reverse Pec Dec – 3x8 - 15
    Side Laterals – 3x6 - 10:wtc:


    Friday (Biceps + Triceps) Even Week

    Barbell Curls – 3x6 - 70
    Close Grip Bench Press – 3x6 -40
    Dumbbell Curls – 3x6 - 30
    Triceps Press Down – 3x8 - 80
    Cable Curls - 2x6 - 100
    Rope Press Down – 2x6 - 70



    Tuesday (Chest) Odd Week

    Bench Press – 3x5 -100
    Incline Dumbbell Press – 3x5 - 15
    Incline Flies – 3x5 - 10
    Hammer Strength Decline – 3x5 - 90


    Wednesday (Back) Odd Week

    Chin Ups – 3x10
    Bent over Barbell Rows -3x6 - 40
    Barbell Shrugs – 3x6 - 70
    Seated Row – 2x6 - 20
    Close Grip Pull Downs – 2x6 - 90


    You get the idea :o I have no upper body :wtc: :wtc:

    Ya lift heavy hard and eat protein = carbs. 3xs a week lifting 3xs a week cardio. you will get there promise..

    Dude over training just a tad if your doing cardio for 45min after or before you lift.

    I eat around 250g of protein in less than 2500 calories :run: Although I think may have to cut it down for a couple weeks blood on the tissue this morinig :o

    fats good to start building muscle... energy. It takes a while for you to figure out what diet works for you. Hell he just can eat sub cals and still make gains.

    Check my logs, I do cardio for at least 30 minutes or more every day after lifting and I'm not even close to overtraining.

    Listen your commitment is awsome. But you need time to heal and grow. You will grow faster with more intense work outs over working out everyday with weights and cardio. Your nervas system takes 24 hours to recover from a hard work out. Again give your muscles time to heal and grow. You can't grow until your healed. The more muscle on your body the less body fat you have so put on lean muscle will skinny you up. Do HIIT training 3xs a week and 3xs a week lift hard and heavy.
