I don't want to get flamed or hate or anything. I had my goal set to finish my cut (8%bf) by early-April. If I counted correctly, this is my 7th or maybe even 8th week, and the past 2 weeks it hasn't looked like I lost any weight (the scale didn't show it anyways). I need help. Yes, I'm only 152 @ 5'6" but I have never been down to 8% before and I feel like I need to get down to that so I can clean bulk and have a "clean slate," if you want to put it that way.

    Haven't maxed on all B/S/D, but: 215x2, 395x1, 265x5

    Anyway, pics:

If your weight loss has been stagnant, then drop your calories a lil bit more

I think you don't need to cut anymore. Your numbers look good for your size. Start the bulk and then cut.

Any other suggestions apart from lowering the cals, I have already done so.

I'm doing HIIT on a few days during the week, trying out the tabata stuff mentioned in a thread by Kotu a few days ago, and just regular cardio on the elliptical.

Would that, possibly, "shock" the body once again in 2 weeks? I am hesitant of this because, well, 2 weeks is a LONG time to take "off" considering I have like 5 weeks left

you can try this or if your too low already you can try upping the cardio on one or two days...also bear in mind if you have been balls out dieting straight through you may need to have a meal or two this week thats a cheat..maybe a whopper or some pizza. Another thing to look at is fluid intake, you could always add more to try an flush more out. Theres a few tricks i have used and worked ok for me.

    Sir Evl,

If you had to choose between the two, would you rather have your calorie levels take you into a deficit or use cardio to drop you into the deficit

    Sincerely,
    The Stork

I'll consider that. My fluid intake has been high, so I'll stick with that. I will probably have a cheat meal this weekend :hs:

wat about changing the amount of carbs around?

try dropping them under 30-40 a day for a week or so? then carb up.

While I considered that, I remember hearing that as long as it's calories out > calories in, it doesn't really matter.

cardio always for me...you can only get so low on cals before its doing more harm then good imo

I get low as possible 2200-2400 for me an cardio and at time i was burning 1k cals(according to machines anyway) so i was getting down there in cals but if i tried to only eat 1400 i would die. There is a difference, thats why its numbers to a point
