Can you guys answer a specific question about this routine?

    As many sets as you need to get to your max of 3-5...

    I used to do something like this:

    135 - 10 reps
    225- 10 reps
    315 - 5 reps
    335 - 3 reps

    If your 1RM is 225, then I would suggest using 205 for your 3RM and doing something like this:

    95 - 10 reps
    135 - 10 reps
    185 - 5 reps
    205 - 3 reps

    jesus fuck thats alot of sets. I just dont have the stamina to do that for even one exercise...much less 4 or 5 a night

    My current chest routine is like this:

    10x135
    8x155
    6x185
    4x205
    2x225
    2x225
    4x205
    4x205
    6x185
    6x185
    8x155
    8x155
    10x135
    10x135

    When I'm on Jack3d, I add two reps starting from the first 2x max, so its actually 4x, 6x, 8x, 10x, 12x (somtimes out to 16x for my last set on 135. The last time I hit the gym, I went nuts and didn't even hit 135, ended up doing 16x @ 155:o)

    okay so for instance, all the sets up to 225 I consider to be warmup, and after this movement (flat bench for example) I do not follow this warmup principle for the rest of my exercise choices.
