Can you freeze cottage cheese?

    Im going though like 4 lbs a week and its pain to keep going and buying it when its all I need. Is it safe to freeze it?

    umm its dairy... it should be ok, never done it though.

    so is that all you eat during the day? cause seriously I gag eating that stuff so I add some mixed fruit with it.

    yes that is all i eat during the day.

    4 lbs is only like 1 serving a for 10 days.

    You might have the problem of when you thaw the stuff, that the curds break apart and become liquid (I suppose it would be good for a shake at that point) because of the amount of water

    Try a little and see how it does. That way you're not wasting the whole container. If it's fine, then freeze the whole thing.

    I eat 6lb per week, and I have no issues with it keeping it the fridge. I recommend the "bakers and chefs" brand.

    Every day I get home from work and have "cottage cheese time!!!" I get the mixer out every week and fold in a little salt, lots of black pepper, and lots of dill spice. It could be the greatest substance on earth.
