Alright, this is a possibly stupid question, but here it is: Is it alright to "cheat" a little on your diet if you make corresponding adjustments to your other meals for the day? Example: I eat healthy items for most of the day. Come lunchtime, I slip and I eat something unhealthy (two coney dogs). I cut down on my meals for the rest of the day so that I come in at or under my goal calorie/carbs/fat/etc for the day. Am I screwing my diet over by doing that? Or is it OK to eat less healthy things (within reason) if you just account for them in your planning for the day?
