I think in most cases you can. I remember some Yakuza looking dudes (japenese guys with full body ink) bought a Sigma while I was working at a gunstore. I'm wanting to say they had to fill out a a bunch of other stuff on the 44473 pertaining to a green card?

Got a buddy from England living in Jersey. He's not able to, although that might be a state issue. Personally, I wish he'd find a nice American girl to marry so he can stick around without renewing his GC all the time. Guy's more American than some people who run for office....

Resident aliens can purchase firearms on 4473s here in Arizona.

Yes, at least in Ohio. I bought several guns as a resident alien before I was naturalized. The only extra info that went on the 4473 was my alien number.

Apparently everyone missed the first sentence of the ad I posted, I wasn't seriously asking. How do you WIN a green card?

  11. I don't think you can win a green card.

Is the ad not showing up in my first post?

  13. Yeah, I think that is one of those advertisement things though. To get a green card you have to apply with the State Department.

Probably a lot less than you'd hope, there's a lot of stupid and ignorant people out there.

  17. I really think that they should require people to take a simple test before they are allowed to vote. Nothing tricky or obscure, just list the candidates and some positions. You have to match the candidate to the position they've taken on some issues before your vote is counted.

My ex works at the Board of Equalization. She was telling me this anecdote about how some of her coworkers were trying to figure out what obama's last name was :ugh:
My current gf is here on a work visa and almost pays as much attention to politics as I do and she's pretty damn smart.
Maybe the stupid and ignorant people out there are the ones with the O stickers on their cars and believe in the hope/change hype :dunno:

  19. The Board of Equalization sounds like something from Harrison Bergeron.
