I used to be able to eat/drirk dairy no problem at all my whole life. Then when I was around 24 I made the decision to become Vegan. That lasted about a year and now I haven't been able to handle dairy the same. It frequently makes me semi-sick. :o

I was perfectly fine with it up until the age of 10 or so. Then I stopped drinking milk and only used it in cereal, etc... Now, at 20 y/o I cannot drink milk AT ALL, I cannot take supplements containing proteins for milk, and I cannot really eat yogart or ice cream (If I do, I get gas and stomach pains and feel crappy).

I still have ice cream though... Just not huge serving of it and I make sure to down a lot of water afterwards.

I've been lactose intolerant since I was 17 (about 10 years). It sucks but I can take those Lactaid pills for it.

You would think someone could really cash in on a reasonably priced lactose free milk.

Last time I looked that shit was 2x the price of regular milk.

Became lactose intolerant around college time (18ish). I can go about a cup of milk once in awhile with no problems. Other times all it takes is a slice of pizza to detonate my ass bombs.

IIRC there's symbiotic bacteria somewhere in your digestive system that breaks down lactose (we can't do this ourselves), it can disappear after a while especially if it doesn't get lactose for a while
