If others agree, I think we should be required to post the settings, if known, of the shot (iso, aperature, shutter speed & ev setting). I think this will give others a better understanding of the difference in shots based on the information.

*EDIT* This doesn't apply to those who post-process. Only original, untouched photos can maintain those attributes.

If you use photoshop, use Save as instead of Save for Web.

And I don't care if the photos are post processed, still good info to know

:riaa: Settings don't make a picture :riaa:

    But night shot does :o

  4. People always end up posting the settings anyways so I don't see any problem.

If anything it could be called post whoring because the person who takes the pic now has to make 2 posts insted of one. :dunno:

I think the settings will give people an idea of what certain shots require in order to obtain them. I rarely notice anyone posting their settings unless someone mentions it.

and you can put the settings above/below the photo instead of creating a new post...

That is a gay rule. I'm not going to follow it. :noes: I don't even know my settings 99% of the time because I use AUTO mode and the camera picks them for me. :noes:

Why can't you guys talk about the photo instead of how it was taken. :greddy:

I realize that a rule wouldn't work so I throw that out now. but i can care less about someones trip to paris and their photos. I actually care more about how the photo was taken and what settings he/she found helped to achieve said photo.
